ARP Wave Therapy
ARP Wave Therapy
ARP Wave is a way of retraining your muscles to work the way they should. Your muscles are made of many individual fibers, and after an injury, a surgery, or years of compensating, some of those fibers stop contributing to the movement. ARP Wave helps switch those fibers back on, and not just in one muscle but across whole movement patterns. When the communication between your brain and your muscles has broken down, this lets us both find the problem and treat it with the same device.
You wear it while you move, the cables with pads attach to your body, and because the unit runs on a battery, you can exercise freely while it works. It feels like electrical stimulation, and patients say it’s “uncomfortable in a good way.”
Once it's applied, most people describe a general sense of relaxation and easier movement, because when all the muscle fibers are working together, the movement feels lighter. People also say it feels like they were just stretched for an hour, when what really happened is that we restored mobility by re-educating the muscles.
ARP Wave helps with shoulder pain and impingements, low back pain, hip pain, Achilles tendonitis, soft tissue injuries, and both preparing for surgery and recovering from it. Shoulder impingements and Achilles tendonitis tend to produce some of the strongest results.
